Lyon's Saint Exupery Airport

Lyon's Saint Exupery Airport Originally named the Lyon Satolas Airport, this futuristic airport was renamed in the year 2000 after a famous French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery, on the day of the author's 100th birthday. The airport was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava Vallis, and includes an airline terminal and railway station. It is located in Colombier-Saugnieu, 20 km from Lyon, France. RF: Interior and Exterior shots featuring the airport (including the railway station) are unsuitable as Royalty-Free. Cityscape shots where the property plays a minor role may be acceptable. When it comes to creating imagery, proper attention must be given to the location featured in videos, photos, or used as a reference for an illustration. Things to consider includes (but are not limited to) property ownership, building design, landmarks, monuments and other architectural works; museums, concert halls, theatre and sport venues. Royalty-Free: as a general rule, places that charge an admission fee or require a ticket for entry usually requires special permissions for imagery taken (and how the imagery is going to be used); This makes these locations problematic in RF content, so they should be avoided. Some locations may be free to enter (like certain museums or historical properties), but to take imagery inside may still be problematic as Royalty-Free. Unique or identifiable structures may not be acceptable as the main focus of content, regardless of context. With that said, cityscape and close-up shots of generic-looking structures may be ok depending on the situation. Editorial: generally speaking, exterior shots of locations are suitable as editorial content, providing the structures featured within the shots abide by the editorial standards (for example, the inclusion of a copyrighted art installment). Interior shots of locations where a fee is charged for entry would require permission to be obtained. Tiffany & Co., Tiffany Blue
