Title: Water Molecule Animation.

Oxygen and hydrogen bond to form water.

For the Web, this clip is a Flash CS4 animation of an oxygen atom bonding with two hydrogen atoms to form a water molecule. The one electron, in each of the two hydrogen atoms , lives in the oxygen's outer shell, or orbital grouping; two of oxygen's electrons live in each of hydrogen's only shell.

I've tried to give the clip at least one trait of water: the components, particularly the oxygen atom's nucleus and its first shell (or orbital grouping), give the impression of floating under water.

This animation might appeal to a buyer interested in the smallest parts of matter, particles that make up the atom, or in what they symbolize, for example, how different things are from how they appear.

Instructions: Also included here are the Flash CS3 version, and a working .SWF published piece, where this clip plays as a loop. The clip can be converted into video. Its layers and symbols are easily editable. In the library, there is a large folder containing many alternative symbols.
